It should be no surprise that I'm a HUGE fan of Jimmy Fallon. I've loved him since his SNL days. He especially sealed the deal for me with his song Idoit Boyfriend (video below also starring Zooey Deschanel). In college, this song could be heard on the regular coming out the windows of the house I shared with my roommates. Each weekend, I'd stand on our coffee table and put on a lip synch performance for our house party guests. It brought us all great joy.
With that said, you can imagine the overwhelming amount of happiness that rushed over me once he became the host of The Tonight Show.
Below are some of my favorite Jimmy Fallon performances including his most recent video "Ew!" with will.i.am.
In the Jewish religion there is a ceremonial tradition at weddings in which the Bride circles the Groom seven times under the huppa so the Groom can check to ensure this is in fact the woman he wants to marry. So...yay for Feminism!
Anyway, as the MOH, I was told by the Rabbi to hold the bride's dress as she circled the Groom and circle with her so she didn't get her dress dirty. I felt concerned that the guests might focus on me and not the couple. So, in effort to ensure the audience would continue focusing on the Bride and Groom, I crouched down into the walking squat position you see below. Nailed it.
A few weeks later, the Bride and Groom received their wedding video and the clip you see below is actually the Bride and Groom recording the video off their computer. It's awesome because you can hear them laughing hysterically as they watch. Enjoy!
There is a name for that horrific sound coming out the mouths of the 17-27 year-old girls in today's day and age. It's called vocal fry and it makes my blood boil. Please watch and help me put an end to this horrific generation's bad habbit of sounding like idiots and behaving with such a sense of entitlement that it makes me want to take a bat to their knees.
Good Day :)
